Adopts Environmental Management System to manage air and water quality issues
April 5, 2011 – (Phoenix, AZ) – Fisher Sand & Gravel has reached a settlement agreement with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) which includes a one-time charge of $125,000. The remainder of the $312,000 settlement will go toward expenses related to the adoption of an Environmental Management System (EMS) to help FS&G comply with state laws relating to air and water quality issues.
